As some of you know, Ali Edwards is someone I admire, not only for her artistic work, but for her advocacy of Autism. She has been a huge help to me over the last month or more in dealing with and understanding my own son's possible diagnosis. She will probably never know how much of a difference she is making to moms like me. Her knowledge and suggestions on the topic of Autism (reading material, etc.) are priceless.
Well, it just so happens that Ali is visiting our store (The Scrapbook Zone), this weekend for a full day of classes and a crop, and we are sooooo very excited! These photos are of the make and take project that I will be doing during the crop on Friday night. It is meant to be a pocket that you can insert photos of her visit, along with journaling and her autograph. I also made a scrapbook page that it can attach to. I hope it will get the Ali seal of approval!
I also have some good news to share; Kelley (the store owner), Sue (a store employee) and I (yes, me!) get to visit with Ali and show her around town (Detroit area), during the day on Friday before the crop! How cool is that? So I have two days to get ready. I am worried that I may be a total dork. Please send coolness vibes my way. I may need em!:)
So, as you can see, it's all about Ali right now. Getting my homework done for class, working on coolness, that sort of stuff. So wish me luck, and I will be back to share my awesome experience!

Stacey, I love the project. This Friday will be fun. I hope the weather cooperates. I pick Ali up tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. I plan on bringing her to the store and then taking her to downtown Royal Oak for dinner and walking around. See you Friday!
Sweetie - to me, your "coolness" quotient is 150%. You could never be a dork.
Have a wonderful time on Friday! I'll see you on May 31st!
Love!!
Sheila
What a fun project and you'll have a great time giving her a tour I'm sure!
