in your underwear....

You know the dream you have where you are standing in front of a crowd in your underwear and you wake up out of breath with your heart beating out of control? I have a similar dream, but it involves me showing up to teach a class without my project. Very scary. Well, this happened to me last night for the very first time for my second night of the Decorative Journal class.
Here is how it happened:
I spent most of the day preparing for the class. I got the tools and embellishments ready, studied the project to remember what I designed almost a month ago, and had the orders for the students from last month ready to go. So I leave the house, all ready to go (or so I thought), with my 5 bags of stuff for class, and I am on my way. 20 minutes later, I pull into the parking lot of The Scrapbook Zone, and realize that I don't remember packing the actual sample book for class. Did I, or didn't I? Do I have time to go back home and get it? Can Mark bring it up to me? Nope, no time to get it and Mark is at Devyn's baseball game. How could I do this? How could I leave for class without the class project? Uh-oh, I better get in there and jot down the images that I remember before my students show up!
Well, I am one lucky girl. How, you ask, could I be lucky after all this? Well, I have the greatest students in the world, and they didn't mind that I had to do the project from memory. They teased me a bit, and probably think I am a little looney, but they didn't seem to mind. And the class went very smoothly. Thank you ladies, for putting up with me, and making my job so much fun.

**post edited to add a quote from an e-mail I got this morning from one of my Decorative Journal students :
"Stacey,
You did an AWESOME job with the class last night. You are soooo creative and very inspiring and motivating for me! Thanks so much! I look forward to the next class! .......
I think I'm really going to like this!
Enjoy your day!
Kelly"

Phew, I was able to pull it off. Now, to make sure that doesn't happen again......

Today I will be meeting a friend for breakfast and then working in the yard. I love Spring.
Have a great day everyone!
