quick check in....

Looks like another crazy day ahead. You see, today is the last day of school for both my boys, and it's only a half day. Things will be crazy this afternoon, so I am looking forward to a lazy morning, it being my last free morning until fall. I can also feel the excitement they are feeling, it's like it's my last day too!:) So sad that time is going by this fast. Devyn is headed to middle school next year, and Nate is finishing his first year in school. Life is good though, can't complain!

I have all the teacher gifts together (Scrapbook Zone Gift Cards, of course!), cards are signed, box-o-chocolates for Nates morning bus driver (Joe), and a stuffed dog for the afternoon driver (Robin; she will miss the little kids the most). Gotta get the camera out and ready too.

Just want to give a shout out to my students in last night's Tag class. They were so much fun, as usual, and I always look forward to seeing them, even though they like to harrass me! Even had a visitor from out of state, thanks for coming Carol!:) Enjoy the rest of your stay here in Michigan!

Well, I better get the kids up and ready for their last day. Wish me luck today, and have a great day yourselves!

Oh, and I am going to plant pumpkin seeds today. Thought it would be fun. Anyone do their own pumpkins? Have any advise for me?

We harrass you because we love you, Stacey...class was fun and Carol did enjoy herself. I can't wait to do more tag classes. The last day of school was always the best day of the whole year...even for me who loved school. Remember the long endless summer that always stretched ahead? I wish we could recapture that feeling as adults. Our perspective has changed so that we see too much to do instead of long and lovely summer days. I am going to work on that this summer...recapturing that youthful perspective.

Have fun on your last day of freedom :)

Sorry, I have no idea how to deal with pumpkin seeds :)
