May is my favorite month because my birthday, our Wedding Anniversary and Mother's Day are all within the first two weeks! So basically, it's all about me!!:) Gotta love that, right?
Friday night Mark surprised me with a dinner reservation at The Melting Pot, with a dozen longstem roses at our table waiting for me. What an awesome meal! It took us about 2.5 hours to finish the meal, but it was really fun. They also took our picture and framed it for us to take home. very cool.
Saturday I worked at the store doing a make and take project for the Zone's 5th Birthday celebration. It was fun seeing so many friends. Everyone was having a ball celebrating National Scrapbook Day. I then came home and prepared for company. My husbands best friend and his girlfriend came by to visit for my birthday, and for dinner and a movie. We watched Borat, which was highly offensive, yet humorous. eeeeek.
Yesterday I spent the day in the yard spreading mulch and freshening things up. I love how it is turning out, although I still have much to do.
I also had to take Devyn shopping for all new clothes (including shoes). He is growing like a weed, I am having a hard time keeping up. Now I have to go through everything that doesn't fit, which is the part I always hate. What a mess.
So now I am thinking about what to do for Mother's Day. Have the guys help me clean out the bags of clothes that need to go to Goodwill? Have them clean out my car? Scrapbook for the day? How about all three? sounds good to me!:) i am evil. I think Mark secretly despises this time of year. guess I can't blame him.
No classes this week but I will be busy making projects for upcoming classes. We'll see if anything gets done!LOL
