been thinking about.....

fall and Christmas! With the newsletter due date coming up fast, I have been preparing projects for next qtr, and they mostly include Halloween and Christmas stuff. Very fun for me! And yesterday, at the grocery store, I picked up this cinnamon apple flavored butter spread for my bagels (one can never have too much butter in the house, right? Yeah, I know, not so good for you......), and I tried it this morning. Man, it was good.

I especially love fall. The crisp mornings, cooler weather, and getting my sweaters out makes me really, really happy.

I am also thinking about taking Devyn school shopping at the end of the week (provided I don't go up north and they come home early). Now that he is going into 6th grade, he is getting more and more interested in what he is wearing. Should be a fun day for the two of us to hang out, and he can help me get Nate some cool things to wear this year too.

I cannot wait for school to start. I love my kids, but I can love them just the same when they are at school. I am so excited for Nate, because when that bus pulls in the driveway, he is going to be the happiest kid in the world. He loves it! And Devyn will be attending a new school, with a laptop and lots of new friends. Can't wait to see what is in store for him. He is starting football this fall too. It's a way of life where Mark and I come from; every boy plays football in our neck of the woods. And football means fall is here.

Well, I am off to get some housework done and take Nate to speech therapy. Before I go, I want to thank all of my students who came to the Tag Your Kit class last night. Always fun to hang out with you ladies!:)

Have a great day!

this weather has been making me yearn for fall. I will also be glad when the kids go to school. Just a little too much togetherness. :)
