I can't stop watching the news on the Virginia Tech shootings. I am so so saddened for the families and friends who lost loved ones, and so angry that so many talented, smart, and beautiful people were killed that day for no apparent reason, other than someone's selfish need to retaliate on innocent people. My heart is aching for all of the students and their loved ones, and I think about them often. I hope that those who lost their lives that day are resting in peace, and that their families will soon find peace as well. So sad. Makes me want to grab my little ones and never let them go. Let someone you know how important they are to you today.
On a totally different note, I am enjoying my little break since the kids went back to school yesterday (had my nails and my hair done; aaaaah, it felt sooo good!). I am also starting to think about what to offer for classes next quarter, even though I am not finished with all of the class projects for this quarter! That's how it goes though, keeps me very busy. I am hoping to get both done in the next couple of weeks, while I have a little break. I also want to get them finished before it's time to get back out into the garden. I look forward to creating some new things, it's always fun. If you have any ideas, send them my way. I always consider your suggestions!
Oh, and nothing in the world is keeping me away from the TV tonight at 10. Lost has gotta be the BEST show EVER!
