been so....

sick the last few days with sinus issues and haven't been able to do much. Really, the only thing I have done is moan and groan about how miserable I feel. (my husband deserves an award by the way).I finally got up and around to the dr. today and am hoping to feel much better soon. I got stuff to do, ya know?:)

Wanted to share that I was able to visit the ASD program at our school district with Nate's teachers last week and was very pleasantly surprised at what they had to offer. They will provide a summer program for him this year, and in the fall he will attend school full time, in a very structured and supporting setting, with as much inclusion in the Kindergarten classroom as possible. Also, because he has a late birthday, he may be able to attend the regular Kindergarten classroom in 2008 as an option. It's nice to have options.Getting this kind of support from the school is such a relief to us, financially and for our peace of mind, knowing that they support him and expect great things from him. His current teacher (who has had him in Early Childhood for two years now), told his new teacher that he is a delight and that he'll melt her heart. That's the Nate I know, too.

Devyn never did get to pitch at his first game on Saturday because his team was mercied before it was his turn (yikes!). No worries though, as long as he is learning and enjoying himself, which he is, I am happy. After all, winning isn't everything, (but it does make the season go a little faster!:)

I hope to start creating something as soon as I feel better. I have lots of pages to do, lots of new pics, and lots of ideas. wanna get them down asap!

Well, that's about it for now. Will be back soon. Take Care!

Hi Stacey, I am so glad to hear about your school district. It sounds like Nathan will be in good hands. I'm sorry to hear you have not been up to par. I hope by time this reaches you, you are on the mend.
