I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! We sure did. We always go to Mark's brother's in Vassar and spend the night at their house (they have two boys, ages 13 and 8). The boys love visiting and we always have a great time. The food was delicious, and I ate far too much! I feel like I should fast for a week! (if you know me, you know this could never happen!)
I lied a few days ago when I said I would post the 10 things I am most thankful for, so I want to do it now:
10. The opportunities that come my way. Seems I am always up to something. Keeps me out of trouble.
9.That I have a car, and don't have to walk to the grocery store. Been there, done that! Although I could use the exercise.
8.For the health of my family. Something we take for granted far too often.
7.That we both have jobs (I think often about those that don't)
6.That I have friends who share the same passions and interests that I do.
5.That I met my husband and he is who he is.
4.That I have my twin sister~ without her, I would be a mess!
3.That I have genuinely sweet and kind children. And their cute to boot!
2. That our hard work with Nathan is really paying off, he is improving in his language comprehension and speech more and more everyday.
1. I am most thankful for my family and the home we live in (I know, it's a cliche, but it's true!).
Ok now,wake up!
And so it starts. We went shopping a bit in Vassar on Friday. There is a store there they call "the Wolverine store", which doesn't look like much on the outside, but they sell Columbia and Levi's brand clothing, shoes, etc.. They had everything in the store at 1/2 off on Friday!! So we hit that store at around 9:30, and I got Devyn just about finished up for Christmas. I also got a few other people done on my list so I am happy about that. I am finally getting in the mood to get my shopping started. Not ready to face the busy stores, so I will shop during the week when the kids are in school and most people are working!:) We also went to the craft show in Vassar and found some really cute gifts there. It was a fun time.
Tonight we are going to the Fox Theatre to see Irving Berlin's White Christmas. We were invited to go with the owner's of the company Mark used to work for before his curent job. Front row seats and a fancy dinner before the show. I got a new outfit and I am getting my hair done this afternoon for the event. Can't wait. I love the theatre!
Well, enjoy your weekend and be safe out there shopping!:)

Didn't know you had a twin sister!
How cool about White Christmas, a friend & I were looking for tickets a couple weeks back, but the seats weren't too good for the price. Front row!
Hope you had a great time at the show. I have always wanted to go.
