9.6.06

Well, the boys are both on the bus on their way to school. I am so excited for them. Devyn practiced on a locker lock all night last night (the worst of his fears was not getting the locker to open), so he was ready to go. He is nervous about starting at a new school, but I know he will be just fine. He's a smart kid, and once he sees the options he has for lunch, all the fear and anxiety will go away. Many more options than elementary school! Nathan was giddy with excitement at seeing his teacher again and of course, riding the bus with bus driver Joe. We waited outside on the front porch for almost a half hour, just to build the excitement. And when it finally did show up, Nate was running to get on. I know he will have a fun day. Can't wait to see them when they get home to hear how everything went. So much fun!

So this is my first day of back to school freedom, and my schedule is filled with projects that have waited. I will finish up tonights class project (yeah, nothing like the last minute!). Love using the new Bohemia line by My Mind's Eye. It's so beautiful, that I hate to cut the paper!

Looking forward to seeing my students tonight at class.

Gotta run, don't want to spend my first day of freedom on the computer!:) Hope you have a great day!
