Spongebob Spookypants

Nate at 5:

Nathan had a birthday in October and is now 5 years old. How does that happen??
The boys are doing great in school. Football is over and things are finally slowing down.
Work is going well. I have good days and bad days, like everyone else I guess. I do enjoy working though, glad I went back. Is that weird or what? Paycheck's help, but I love getting out of the house. I love getting up early and heading out with the kids in the morning with my first cup of coffee. I love being around grown ups and talking about grown up things. I like my boss and the girls I work with. I really do!
I am also loving the chilly weather and the smell of fall.
I don't, however, enjoy the Christmas music all around me. I REFUSE to give in. I will not shop yet. I don't care what sales you try to entise me with. I won't do it!
I want to send hugs out to my good friend Renee who lost her mother to cancer last week. I pray that she finds peace very soon and I can't wait to see her smile again. I am thinking of her a lot this week, including so many others I know who are dealing with the death of a loved one right now. I often wonder why these things happen to such good people? It just doesn't seem fair.
It's just a reminder that no matter how busy we get, we shouldn't take a single day, or loved one for granted. Life is just too short!
So, that's about it for now. I hope all of you, my friends, are doing well too!
