So I haven't posted in f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I even thought about not blogging, but who will I share my pictures with and all my boring news? I mean, there must be someone out there who will at least read it, right? Well, maybe not. But here it goes anyway.
The kids are back in school and they are loving it.
Devyn has been practicing football and even found out today that he will be starting....something we warned him may not happen in his first year of football, especially with all the returning 8th graders on the team. I am so proud of him. He has proven that he wants to play, and it was noticed.
Nathan is adjusting just great to his full time schedule. His teacher called me on the first day and told me how impressed she was with his enthusiasm, and that his skills greatly surpassed her expectations. I was thrilled of course.
Work is going great. I am finally able to see through the fog a little~ I hate being the new guy and not knowing what the heck is going on! It's been hard to make friends at work because I have been so focused on learning. It's nice to finally let loose a little and relax.
We are having so much fun with the camper:
We have a couple more trips planned. The boys love just love everything about, and I have to admit, we adults do too! Cooking over the campfire, playing outdoor games together. This definitely has brought us closer together.
