a full page!

Here is my very first published page! You see this turkey on the left? He's mine!
(Click on the photo to enlarge)

On a page all by itself. I was so excited to get this in the mailbox on Friday right before I left for The Zone. You can get this book at Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com. Click here to find it. Haven't submitted much since then, but maybe I will try again. will see.
Here is a layout I did with the sledding pics from a couple weeks ago (click on it to make it larger). Love, love, love these foam thickers by American Crafts. These have got to be my favorite right now. Check them out next time you visit the store. They come in all different fonts, sizes, shapes (letters and otherwise), and colors. You won't be dissapointed! Thanks SoO for the great title! I was truly stumped, and she so brilliantly helped. You ROCK in the title department!:)
Had a great time at The Zone for the Crop 'til you drop weekend. If you have never gone, I strongly suggest it. Great food, lots of cropping time, and you get to go home at the end of the night so your family doesn't feel like you abandoned them! lotsa fun!
I was able to get quite a bit done over the weekend by the way of class projects. I am almost finished with March projects, so I can focus on next quarter already. I have so many new ideas that I can't wait to get started. I hope to bring a sketches class back, due to all the new creative sketches you can find out there (beyond Becky Higgins, although we will use some of hers too!). The next schedule promises to bring lots of new surprises, so keep yer schedule open!:)
Well, I am off to do housework and spend time with the boys (home for winter break). Wish me luck!;)

Hey Stacey girl, I have been out of the loop...just read your blog for the first time in a couple of weeks. Love the photos you took of your sister...can't wait to see what you do with them. Congratulations on your published page! You must be so excited! Love the winter pages, too...you capture the boys so well in your photos. Keep up the beautiful work!
